Standing Free in the Wind

Spring is just around the corner. I am feeling good. I am ready to let go of things that are poisoning my life and put them into my creativity. I have had a dread that I messed up by back combing a little too hard, and decided to just cut off the part that was crazy. It really doesnt matter bc i have like 70 dreads. lol. But for me it was an ending to something that has been plaguing me. I think I might use it for subject matter for some of my new pieces.
On another note, the cherry blossom tree I take pictures of every year has buds on it. Whoop. Cant wait for the tree to bloom.

After 48 hours of drawing, I am finally finished with my drawing for Drawing II. I almost was about to give up. Basically we had to take an old master with good contour lines and change the theme. It had to be a painting. I chose Simon Voulet's Toilet of Venus. I made it more German Boroque like Grien. I was quite amazed at the outcome. I didnt know I had it in me. I will post pictures when my professor gets them back to me. Whoop!

I just now saw this. Im great. I got into the Bfa program for photo media art. New type of study. It deals with everything. How are you?
I'm doin ok. just working mostly. need to get back into doing more art. I showed my art to the big guys at blizzard and they liked it but didnt have any. :-P still living in California for now may move back to Tenn.
That would be super cool if you did. I still have my bears you did. Ive started working with stamps. Im going to sens you my email and number so its faster to communicate and share new work.
